I don’t do anything for deep scratches, you have to remove too much paint to get through them that it just makes things worse.

For fine scratches you can use a magic eraser (it’s a cleaning sponge available at grocery and hardware stores).

It has fine abrasives in it that are not too difficult to polish out.  After that I like to use Fiberglass Hawaii’s #2 Surfboard polish with a microfiber towel on any dull spots.  Then any car wax to protect the paint.

Go easy with both the magic eraser and the polish.  Both remove paint, and the paint is thin.  Too much and it looks worse.
